I hope this will be of some help when stamping.

This is a scene of court nobles enjoying kemari under the cherry blossom trees.
As a composition, the cherry blossom trees are placed around, giving the impression that they are watching the kemari from above. Don't you feel like a lord who is superior to court nobles?
Additionally, the single-character stamp creates the effect that makes this postcard look like a piece of work. This is actually the key point: Don't underestimate the effect of a single character stamp.

This is a picture that reproduces the design exactly as it says.
"Bird Singing" gives a fun impression by placing multiple birds. If this were just one bird, it would give a different impression.
Next, regarding the "dancing flowers," we did not deliberately scatter the petals, but instead expressed the flowers blooming on the road, showing that "scenes like this always linger in our everyday lives."
The fact that people and ox carts are placed also makes us aware of this "path" and plays a role in expressing "everyday life."

First, I would like to explain this poem by Basho in a very brief way.
"The cherry blossoms I remember seeing with my lord Yoshitada at the cherry blossom viewing party before Basho left the domain.
A few decades later, at a cherry blossom viewing party invited by Yoshinaga, Yoshinaga, the son of Yoshinaga, the cherry blossoms that she saw while layering the image of Yoshinaga, was like the former cherry blossoms that she thought would never be able to see again, and reminded me of the "various things" that have happened to Basho up until now.
It has the meaning behind it.
So, I decided to create a composition where I was looking at Kyoto, a place full of Basho's memories, through the cherry blossoms that are right in front of me.
By arranging Kyoto in a distance, it expresses the point of being "various things" rather than "one."

The popular Kyoufufu stamp character, Heisuke-san, is enjoying the waves.
By making the waves Heisuke rides and the waves of the ocean the same shape, it gives a sense of unity and makes it seem like they are riding the same waves of the ocean.
Also, by pushing Heisuke just a little downwards than the other waves, the depth is now available. It's a small thing, but it has an effect.
The expression "summer" is to place the murmur clouds and seagulls, which gives the impression of the height of summer.

When I write this poem by Masaoka Shiki, many people say that many people
You may imagine a woman wearing a Japanese clothes wearing an umbrella, climbing Sanneizaka (Sannenzaka) towards Kiyomizu-dera Temple during the hot summer months.
I think Shiki also sang this poem while watching such a scene.
That's how it feels to properly reflect the harsh heat of Kyoto.
In this way, if we assume that the reader is imagining (can imagine) the artwork in his head, then it may be fine to simply help his imagination stir up without breaking down the artwork (the artwork in his head).
Therefore, in this postcard, I placed a poem in the middle, and asked the recipient to imagine the summer scenery of Kyoto, and at the same time, I tried to help with that imagination, simply place the "place" and "seasons" of "Kizumi-dera Temple" and "leaf branches" in an easy-to-understand design.
The reason why it's the bottom right is that most people shift their eyes from the top left to the bottom right. Therefore, we have placed it in this way so that you can read the poem first and then look at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

It's a hot summer, but let's have fun and enjoy it! My focus is on conveying this.
For this reason, the sunflowers are layered all over the frame, which are symbols of summer energy.
In addition, the meaning of "love, loving, nostalgia, and longing" in the flower language of sunflowers, we have also taken into consideration the situation of the other person, which is the significance of a summer greeting.

We have designed the Gion Festival, a summer tradition in Kyoto.
The key point is as the title suggests:♪It is created with the image of it being fun, lively and lively, as if you can hear the sound of the bell.
Specifically, instead of using the "hoko" as the main character, the "liveiness" is expressed by placing a large number of lanterns and viewing them to the participants (people) to express their liveliness. Many other colors are used to express the way that various people are traveling, and by placing lanterns of different sizes, pressing them with bright yellow to blur the perspective and create a glow throughout.

This is a scene that shows the end of the rainy season and summer has arrived.
The rainy season is expressed by frogs and snails, and the rainy season is covered in a slightly lonely way.
On the other hand, as an expression of summer, I was told that "dongbo" was overhead to announce the arrival of summer. Although there is an image of dragonflies being a little autumn, summer is actually the time when dragonflies are the most common.
Please use this as a reference if you want to express the period around the second half of July.

We tried to bring out the wonderfulness of autumn leaves to the fullest.
The key is the colour. Needless to say, the autumn leaves are the charm of the gradation of the colour that appears just before it falls. Therefore, I press it using a variety of colors to make it as close as possible.
However, simply using lots of colors is not an accomplishment. Please take a closer look at the image on the left. Have you noticed that the color has hidden intentions?
that's right. The degree of autumn leaves varies depending on the tree.
The leaves on the right of the image are bright vermilion and yellow, but the left of the image is mainly used in green and brown.
If you look at the actual autumn leaves close up, the degree of autumn leaves is completely different depending on the type of trees and how the sunlight hits them. We recommend using gradient ink.
By making this ingenuity, it will bring closer to the actual autumn leaves, and the green and brown trees on the left will play a role in bringing out the vividness of the vermilion and yellow on the right. Jizo statues are also pleased.

The word "Chiaki Manzai" is pressed in the center, which is a celebration of wishing for a long life. In addition to words, we also push red dragonflies, rice ears, and scabbards. This makes it easy to associate autumn with autumn.
However, the intention behind this postcard is that it reminds me of the famous poem "It's probably a rice ear that bows its head the more its fruit," and actually conveys the word "Chiaki Manzai" to wish for a long life.
For example, when sending to an elderly person you respect, I will repeat the lives of the rice ears and the person you are sending, and "Even though I have been blessed with many fruits of experience over the years, I sincerely hope that Mr. XX, who has always had a humble heart, will always be able to live a healthy life."
It would be a great gift if you send it with the meaning behind it.
【point】
The leaves of the trees are still blue, and red dragonflies fly in the flowers, representing the scene of the end of summer and the arrival of autumn.
When I look at this postcard, does the corners of my mouth strangely rise a little?
The part where the red dragonfly flies with the family and the smiles of Jizos may be what softens the entire postcard.

This design expresses the cold weather of winter. The key point is to press a square tone stamp on the top left and bottom right of the blank postcard, limiting the space between them, and the entire postcard looks tighter.
Additionally, the snow outside the round window has a different size that gives it depth, and not only women and cats, but also the apparently meaningless lanterns spread out and make you realize that they are inside the room. I think that if you make good use of the space created by these decorations and presses, you will get a beautiful finish.
Furthermore, if you press a circle yellow tone stamp on this lantern, time will change completely and it will be night. Try out a variety.
【point】
We are pushing the word "Choraku Mugiku," which means "to continue to enjoy as much as possible."
I deliberately used these words in winter to convey that, in nature, winter is a symbol of harshness, but even in such situations, you can find fun depending on your own mindset.
In the design, to give this meaning, we first use snowflake stamps that represent winter.
Next, regarding "fun," each person has different "fun" experiences. However, I think that in any way, I would say "flowers bloom in ○○," so I used "flowers" here to express "fun." Additionally, the word "limitless" is expressed by pressing lots of "flowers." The key here is to push the flowers so that they stick out of the frame, aiming for the impression that the flowers are still blooming all around them, and that they are infinitely blooming.
【point】
The theme is "power."
The design depicts a crane walking through a cold snowy field.
As a technique, by mixing blue into the silver world, it gives the impression of hope for a design that only has a cold impression.
Furthermore, instead of using snowflakes as seen under a microscope, we used the old-fashioned snowflake pattern, which may be a strange expression, but we have tried to make it warm, rather than cold snow.
What do you think? Is it warm?
【point】
The light and rocks on the surface of the pond are expressed using tone stamps.
In addition, as a technique to make the carp appear as a Nishikigoi, we color it with a facial color after stamping. If you press the face color so that it sticks out from the stamp design, it will become a pale color and give off an underwater atmosphere, so please try it out if you like.
【point】
In order to make it seem like a quiet peer into the life of animals from between the trees, branches are pressed up on top left and bottom right to make them appear to be growing from outside the frame.
As for the arrangement of the birds, I tried to express them as if they were communicating by pushing them with the eyes of the deer and the eyes of the birds.
It seems like it's kind of fun.
【point】
To express the quick movements of ninjas, the stamps are used to create afterimages. Furthermore, by using three-line stamps, we have made efforts to show the movement even faster and show the direction of movement.
Also, combining this with tiled roof stamps will give you a sense of space and distance, making it more interesting.
【point】
Here, our focus was on expressing the moment of silence before a sound was heard.
I deliberately made the design simple (two types) and made the left half blank to express the "stillness" beside the "movement."
In this way, not only overlapping designs, but also using these blank spaces can also create new expressions, so be sure to give it a try.
【point】
The place called Gokuraku is merely an image, so the design is designed to recreate the image that everyone has. The color becomes more important in the image, not only is the design important.
First, the halo of the Buddha is expressed using yellow tone stamps, and the lotus is combined with two types of pink and two types of green to create a vivid look.
In addition, to express the Zuiun, we used four colors of metallic ink to create a gorgeous look. I think that by using various colors like this, we are able to express a world filled with light a little.
